What Is Genetic Engineering?
Genetic engineering is the process of deliberately modifying an organism’s DNA by transferring genes from one organism to another.

The Process of Genetic Engineering (Simplified)
1️ Identify the desired gene (e.g. insulin gene in humans).
2️ Use enzymes to cut out that gene.

4️ The host organism produces the new protein or trait.
